- The President of Turkey is the head of state as well as the head of government at the same time.
 - Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan is a Turkish politician serving as the current and first executive president of Turkey since 28th of August in year 2014.
 - He was a Mayor of Istanbul from 1994 to 1998.
 - Tayyip ErdoÄŸan was also the Prime Minister of Turkey from 2003 to 2014.
 - The current Vice President of Turkey since 10 July 2018 is Fuat Oktay.
 - Turkey changed from a parliamentary republic to a presidential republic.
 - Fuat Oktay is the 1st vise president of Turkey.
 - He also served as Undersecretary to the Prime Minister of Turkey from 2016 until his appointment as the vice president.
 - Mustafa Åžentop is current speaker of parliament of Turkey since 24 February 2019.
